We’ve combined the warm, comforting spices of Garam Masala with a traditional Dutch-style apple pie, topped with a buttery crumb mixture. The result? Definitely worthy of a scoop of vanilla ice cream—but delectable on its own, too.

Preparation Instructions:

- Preheat convection oven to 350˚F.
- Step 2
- In small bowl, whisk together 4 oz. melted butter, brown sugar, salt and 2 tsp. Garam Masala. Add 1 cup of flour with a fork to create a crumble texture and refrigerate topping. In small saucepan, combine remaining 4 oz. butter, water, flour, sugars and 1 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala. Bring to a boil stirring frequently and simmer until thickened.
- Step 3
- In large bowl combine the apples and raisins, toss to coat with flour mixture. Place crusts on a parchment-lined 1/2 sheet pan. Fill each crust with approximately 9 oz. each of pie filling. Top each pie with 1/2 cup (2 1/2 oz.) of the crumble. Bake for 20-22 minutes until topping and crust are golden brown.
